Alleviate Tax was born from frustration—the kind only someone who has been there can truly understand.
Our founder knows what it's like to wake up at 3 AM, heart racing, wondering how you'll deal with the IRS. After years working on Wall Street as an investment banker and later building a successful law firm, our founder faced significant tax challenges. The stress was overwhelming. The system felt impossible to navigate.
"I've been in your shoes many times: stressed, frustrated, and worried about my tax debt," our founder shares. "I've spent years dealing with the IRS personally and professionally. I know the toll this takes on someone, their family, and their mental health. "
That personal battle became a mission. In February 2018, Alleviate Tax was founded with a simple promise: to treat every client like family and provide the same sigh of relief our founder experienced when the tax situation was finally resolved.
What started as one person's determination to help others has grown into a team of over 150+ tax professionals—CPAs, Enrolled Agents, and Tax Attorneys—who have collectively resolved over $500M+ in tax debt for thousands of Americans.
