Alleviate Tax provides tax resolution services including, but not limited to:
- IRS tax debt resolution and negotiation
- Offer in Compromise assistance
- Installment agreement negotiations
- Penalty abatement requests
- Wage garnishment and levy release
- Unfiled tax return preparation
- Innocent spouse relief assistance
- Currently Not Collectible status requests
3. Service Process and Fees
Two-Phase Process
Our service is divided into two distinct phases:
- Phase 1 (Investigation): Analysis of your tax situation and determination of available options. Fee is charged upfront and is non-refundable.
- Phase 2 (Resolution): Active negotiation and resolution with the IRS. Fee is quoted after Phase 1 completion. You are not obligated to proceed with Phase 2.
Payment Terms
- All fees must be paid in full before services begin for each phase
- Fees are non-refundable once services have commenced
- Exact pricing is provided during your free consultation
4. No Guarantees of Specific Results
IMPORTANT:
- We cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results
- Each tax case is unique and results vary based on individual circumstances
- We do not guarantee that your tax debt will be reduced to a specific amount
- The IRS has sole discretion in accepting any settlement or resolution proposal
- Case timelines vary (Phase 2 typically takes 2-10 months)
5. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
- Respond promptly to requests for documentation or information
- Sign all necessary authorizations (Power of Attorney, Form 2848, etc.)
- Pay all fees as agreed
- Inform us of any changes to your financial situation
- Comply with all IRS requirements and deadlines
- Continue filing tax returns as required during the resolution process
6. Communication Consent
By submitting your contact information through our website or requesting our services, you expressly consent to receive communications from Alleviate Tax via:
- Telephone calls (including calls made using an automatic telephone dialing system or artificial/prerecorded voice)
- Text messages (SMS/MMS)
- Email communications
This consent applies even if your telephone number is currently listed on any state, federal, or corporate Do Not Call registry. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing our services. Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive. You may opt out of phone calls by requesting removal from our call list.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALLEVIATE TAX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO OUR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or savings
- IRS penalties or interest accrued during the resolution process
- Unsuccessful resolution attempts
- Delays in IRS processing
- Actions taken by the IRS or other tax authorities
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF FEES YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE IN QUESTION.
8. Professional Relationship
- Our services create a professional relationship with qualified tax professionals, not an attorney-client relationship
- We act as your authorized representative before the IRS
- Communications with our tax professionals are protected under applicable IRS regulations and professional standards
- You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice
- We may terminate services if you fail to cooperate or provide necessary information
9. Third-Party Content and Services
Our website includes embedded content from third-party services and uses external services for business operations. Your interaction with this content is subject to the third party's terms of service and privacy policies.
